How to Crop a Flipkart Label for a Thermal Printer (4x6)
· 2 min read
Why a Flipkart label needs cropping
Flipkart sends label PDFs on A4 pages. The shipping label sits in the top part of the page and the tax invoice is below a dashed line. A thermal printer loaded with 4×6 inch stickers needs only the label, at sticker size. Printing the whole page makes the label tiny.
Crop the label in four steps
- Download the shipping labels for your orders from Flipkart Seller Hub as a PDF.
- Open the Flipkart label crop tool and drop the PDF in. You can add several files.
- Keep the output size on 4 × 6 in, or choose Exact label size for no white margins. Leave the invoice option on Remove invoices.
- Check the preview and the barcode check line, then download or press Print.
Printer settings that keep the barcode sharp
- Paper size: 4×6 in (or 100×150 mm). It must match the roll.
- Scale: 100% or Actual size. Do not use Fit to page on top of an already cropped label.
- Margins: None.
- Darkness: raise one step if the barcode looks faint, then print one test label.
